The scholarship is offered yearly to students who did well in the Madhyamik Examination or Higher Secondary exam or any University examination. If you did not get the Scholarship this year, you could always reapply next year.

The application period for the Scholarship 2023 is over. Apply for the Nabanna Scholarship 2024 instead.
Nabanna Scholarship 2024 Last Date
There is no last date for the Scholarship application. Students are, however, applicants are encouraged to apply for the 2024 scholarship to be considered eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the scholarship, make sure you are eligible. However, whether or not students qualify for the award they will still be screened for the scholarship provided, they submitted the scholarship application form. The following are the eligibility criteria of the Nabanna Scholarship:
Applicants should be a resident of West Bengal.
Recipients of the scholarship can only study in a State-aided university in West Bengal after writing and passing the State Board/Council of Secondary Education.
The Scholarship is merit-based; hence applicants must have scored at the minimum score of 65% in the 10th examination for the 12th level.
Applicants in the 12th UG level must have scored a minimum of 60% marks.
Applicants at the PG level should score 55% marks in the graduation.
Recipients of other state scholarships or stipends for the same course or at the same stage of study are not eligible for the Scholarship.
Annual Income of the Applicant’s family should be less than Rs.60,000/
How to apply for the Nabanna Scholarship
The application procedure for the scholarship requires offline; however, applicants have to download the scholarship form online.
Make sure to fill the application form with the correct information. Attach a copy of the required documents with the Application form. After finishing all the process, submit this application form at Nabanna, Howrah or Uttarkanya, Jalpaiguri.
Please don’t send your application form and the attached documents through speed post, as they may reject your application.
Once the scholarship form is submitted, a receipt will be given to the applicant as proof of the application.
Documents Required for Nabanna Scholarship
Photo-Copies of Mark Sheets of all exams taken by the applicants
Copies of Rank Card and Allotment letter of Selection Committee (only for JEE or Equivalent Examination)
A Copy of Monthly Family Income Certificate from anyone like-DM/ SDO/ BDO / Group-A Govt. Officer not below the rank of Joint BDO/ Executive Officer in the Municipality / Deputy Commissioner of Corporation.
A Copy of Reference from MP/MLA declaring monthly family income of the student.
A Self-declaration form attesting that the applicant’s present course of education and details of year/semester and receipt of any scholarship/aid/assistance are true and correct.
Applicant’s Account details. The bank detail must include the IFSC Code, Branch Name, Branch Code, Bank Name, Account Number, and a copy of Bank Pass Book.
A Copy amount paid or to be paid as tuition.

Award
After the Prerequisite screening, lucky scholars will get INR 10,000 Per Annum. Applicants can check the Nabanna approved list to receive their reward. The list of the shortlisted applicants will be announced on the official website.
Nabanna Scholarship Last Date
There is no deadline for the Scholarship Scheme.
